  • Currently establishing a semiconductor and nanophotonics laboratory

2011 – 2017, Aarhus University:

  • Consulted on design and installation of multi-chamber cluster PECVD and hot wire CVD system for the fabrication of thin film semiconductor materials and devices in the iNano cleanroom.

  • Designed and developed measurement set-up for upconversion in solar cells.

  • Developed nanomaterial synthesis and innovative bench-top nanofabrication approaches.

  • Set-up multi-wavelength confocal Raman spectroscopy with image recording capability.

2013 – 2016, CNR-IMM, Bologna, Italy:

  • Conducted complete process/system optimization of thin film silicon solar cell fabrication.

2010 – 2011, FCT-UNL, Portugal:

  • Developed and installed multi-chamber cluster PECVD for silicon nanowire growth.

2008 – 2009, LPICM, Ecole Polytechnique, France:

  • Developed and optimized the set-up for in-situ plasma diagnostics using optical emission spectroscopy for the fabrication of silicon solar cells in the ultra-fast growth in MDECR-PECVD.

2006 – 2008, Samtel Center for Display Technologies, IIT Kanpur:

  • Designed and developed an indigenous experimental setup to measure secondary electron emission (SEE) of dielectric materials for plasma panel display applications.

  • Developed PECVD system for the growth of carbon nanotubes.

1998 – 2006, Dept. of Physics, IIT Kanpur:

  • Set up various synthesis and optoelectronic characterization setups during my Ph.D. related to research on porous silicon and microcrystalline silicon thin films.

  • Took initiative to set up the fabrication and characterization facilities in the laboratory to establish the research activity on organic semiconductor based devices.
